Novovoronezh NPP in cooperation with JSC “GMZ “Himmash” completes the experimental development of the technology of the repair of the heat exchanger reservoir welding unit to the nozzle Du1200 of the steam generator PGV-1000M, which is aimed at extending the operational life of the power unit No. 5.
The technology of repair is realized with the help of a complex of special equipment (CSE), which was developed, manufactured and delivered by JSC “GMZ “Himmash” taking into consideration the specific features of this repaired unit.
CSE provides mechanization of preparation of annular cutting with the help of modern machining tools and automatic argon-arc welding with non-consumable electrode with heating of filler wire, as well as constant video surveillance beyond the welding zone.
Complex engineering of the project for the creation of CSE was carried out by the specialists of JSC “GMZ “Himmash” with the involvement of the companies POLYSOUDE S.A.S. (France), AOUT Representative Office POLYSOUDE in Moscow, JSC “OKB “GIDROPRESS” and JSC “NPO “TSNIITMASH” in the period from 2012 to 2016.
